As with all rooted cutting species at JLPN, our Platanus x acerifolia Cultivars are rooted hydroponically in 100% volcanic pumice. This creates the fibrous and well branched root systems that ensure your transplanting success.
‘Bloodgood’ is easily distinguishable in the landscape once it grows to a mature specimen with its gnarly truck and patchwork bark patterns and massive size.
‘Exclamation’™ maintains the positive attributes of Planetree with the camouflage pattern and flaking bark, but trumps it in form with a dominant central leader and pyramidal form.
Both cultivars are anthracnose and mildew resistant.
