Grown from seed, Carpinus caroliniana has a naturally beautiful fall color of red, orange and yellow. While adaptable to most conditions, it prefers moist, slightly acidic soils.

Betula pendula has white/ gray splitting bark with weeping branches, very cold tolerant and is commonly used as a budding or grafting understock.

Betula papyrifera is extremely cold hardy for northern climates with striking yellow fall color. White peeling bark with oval shape. Height 50-70’.

Our Betula nigra ‘Select’ has been a mainstay for over 30 years. Very similar in bark color & peeling characteristics displayed by some patented varieties.
Betula nigra ‘Dura Heat’
Betula nigra ‘Dura Heat’ stands true to its name with less leaf drop and darkening of the bark in extreme heat. Creamy white/ peach exfoliating bark, heat, drought tolerant; borer and aphid resistant. Grows strong in moist soil conditions.
